The Heintzman Building stood on the corner of Ouellette & University (then London Street) and was home to retail operations of Hientzman Piano Company. The building was remodeled over the years, and fell to the wrecking ball, along with the original Palace Theatre in 1986, when the bock was redeveloped with the new rebuilt Palace Theatre. The new Palace eventually closed as well, and the building was re purposed as the new home of the Windsor Star, when they relocated from their longtime home at Pitt & Ferry.
