A view of Downtown’s major shopping district, with two major department stores: Bartlet, MacDonald & Gow, as well as Smith’s a few doors down.
In this picture, on the Windsor side at least, there is only one building still standing. The two story, darker brick building almost in the middle of this block, in between the Drugs sign and Smith’s (second building on the right) is today the Loose Goose. Hard to imagine that building is under that horrible facade on the Goose.

We’ve all said it time and time again… It’s a shame that these marvellous buildings aren’t still around. Also I do agree with what you said about how the Loose Goose building has changed for the worst…. I love Goose though for the record lol.
