This old home up in the casino area, was one of a handful of extremely old homes in the city. The city of Windsor was founded in 1854, and a handful of these style of homes around the core of the city date back to the late 1850s. I found these old photos of 229 Aylmer that I shot back in 2006. I poked around on street view and was disappointed to see that the house was no more. Looks like it was demolished about 2014/2015.
There is one still standing of a similar vintage on Louis, around the corner from this one.
