A photo of the Loop Complex around 2003, when the building was occupied and in full swing. The Loop was on the second floor, Pogo’s on the main floor, and the Coach and Horses in the basement. The old Fish Market Sign still hung on the corner of Chatham & Ferry in this shot.
The complex later changed ownership and eventually closed. After several years of vacancy, and a few different ownership groups, the building is currently undergoing a renovation thanks in large part to incentives from a Community Improvement Plan put into effect by the municipal council.
The more recent photos date from a few weeks ago.
